Crock Pot Short Ribs n BBQ sauce 


  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp EACH of sea salt, cumin, mustard powder, basil, oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 cup tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey

Saute onions until tender then add all herbs and spices into the onions.

Place the short ribs in the crock pot and season with salt.
  Add all remaining ingredients and whisk together.
  Pour bbq sauce over the ribs in the crock pot. Set for 8 hours on LOW. 8 Hours later they will literally be falling off the bone. Most of the bones had already fallen off and were swimming.    I ended up making some vermicelli to go with the extra sauce. Yum. So tender.
